For a long time, I've been listening tailoring my Yahoo! Launchcast to play my favorite music. If you don't know what it is, it's a service that lets you rate songs and you say you like them or you hate them and then they'll not only play those songs, but also play new songs that "match" your ratings. So like, other people that enjoy Blondie also like Lily Allen, so here's a Lily Allen song for you to enjoy.
Well, I heard Alfie, which totally reminded me of my own brother! Such a slacker. I was hooked, and rated her, the song, and the album 4 stars (which is highest). Then a bit later, it played another Lily Allen song, I think it was Smile. By the time I'd listened to four songs, I said, "that's it! I'm buying this album!"
I think I bought it off of Amazon, rather than the Launchcast thing, because I just don't get the Yahoo stuff as much. But anyway, I got the album and it's been in my car ever since. Actually, I took it out of my car to put it on my iPod because it's such good running music.
I totally want to go see Lily Allen in person someday. I did some more research and found out there was no wiki (i think communities online are way cool) and tried making one. While doing research for the wiki, I've learned so much about her (maybe I'm to scared to actually meet her in person now, lol, she'd kick my ass). There SO much information about her and what she's doing.. I had no idea what I was getting into!
